3 Wheel Double Buggy

It can accommodate twins from at birth and will accept two car seats or a carrycot with a seat. However, the seats have to be oriented forward and there's not enough space for a shopping bag underneath, so you'll need a backpack for that.

Mountain Buggy Duet will be the best choice when you love off-roading. It's a side-byside model with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy on the market. It is easier to get through narrow doors as well as on public transport. It is also able to climb up and over kerbs. Alternatively, the phil&teds dot is a brilliant single buggy from day 1 that is able to easily be adapted to take 2 (or 3 wheel all terrain buggy!) in various configurations. This is especially useful for parents with children in a car seat as the frame can be equipped with a wedgie to allow for optimal lie-flat positioning, or car seat adapters to various brands.

Suspension

The quality of the suspension in a triple buggy is crucial to how it will be easy for you and your baby to push. It is essential to have a smooth ride, as babies can feel every bump on the road. This is especially true if you are driving on rough terrain, such as grass or unpaved roads. Some models also have locking front wheels to assist with maneuvering and getting over obstacles such as curbs.

Some models use air-filled tyres that give you a great all-terrain experience, but they can be susceptible to punctures, so make sure you have a spare set in the trunk. Some models have gel-filled or foam-filled tyres which are designed to cushion bumps. They can be less likely to puncture, but they could cause discomfort for your child if they decide to jog.

Folding
