The legs clicked into place and the zippers were secure to ensure security. This is one of the more expensive options, however it is packed with lots of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib that is suitable for infants from birth to six months. It has a new mechanism to open and close the side panel and is easy to use, even for one-handed operation. It's also more flexible than its predecessor with 11 different height levels and retractable feet for a secure place under any bed.

Our testers appreciated the ease of access provided by the side panel which can be moved upwards and down with one click of a button. This was particularly useful during nighttime feedings as they could reach inside and pick their baby up without waking them up.

It is possible to lower the side panel by it's own, however this is not advised, as it increases the risk that your child will get out of the cot. The safety locking system makes sure that the side panel will only stay down if it is attached correctly to the mattress of the parent. This is a wonderful feature to have in place for peace of mind, particularly if you're breastfeeding and require frequent feedings at night.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be compatible with any bed that includes divan bases as well as beds with drawers due to the legs that telescopic.
